The Iconoclast Project

A series of small golden idols were distributed by the artist Josh Urban Davis to strangers with the following letter attached: "Here is your very own slightly tacky, individually signed and numbered golden idol! I know you have always wanted one. Use it as you will. Build a shrine around it! Use it as a paper weight! Or be an iconoclast and destroy it! It looks equally stylish adorning a desk, mantle, or bottom of a garbage can. Please take a photo of what you have done and email it to theiconoclastproject@gmail.com.
